Drawing is not considered a sin in Christianity at all. Inserted God commanded the ark and temple be adorned with such images. Therefore it’s totally fine and good to draw such things. You can learn and follow your passion without any worries.

And in islam religion, drawing is also not a sin. But drawing living things is not at all recommended. And it’s a haram. They think that when we draw some living things we get a feeling of accomplishment. And it can corrupt us and tease us to worship that thing. Therefore drawing living things, peoples, faces, monsters are considered sin and haram.

Can You Draw In a Bible? Yes, you can absolutely draw in your bible. These Days it’s becoming a new trend. people are drawing, and doodling, in their bible to Bible journaling and connect with god more in a creative way. You can easily find people on the internet, who love to draw in their bible. And it’s not a sin. 

The Bible commands us to “study the Word” and to meditate upon it. Part of studying in order to learn means that you do write notes, etc in your Bible. 

But I suggest you do it neatly so it’s easy for you to read and take care that you don’t write over the printed verses so as to make them difficult to read. 

Underline and/or highlight verses that your heart takes note of, and then when you find another verse in the Bible that talks about the same subject make a cross reference note, or buy a Bible that already has this.

There is no verse against it. And a lot of pastors write notes and highlight their bibles constantly. So even morally it’s fine to write, draw, doodle and paint in your bible. But do it with good intention.

What Does the Bible Say About Art? There are several mentions about art in the bible. God’s view of art is He likes it, and He is the source of it. He wants man to create beautiful things, and their skill in doing so is from Him. but later he said, it is important to define beauty. Art that is created to shock or horrify, or to glorify or elicit sin (violence, greed, lust) cannot be called “beautiful”.

So in simple words the bible says about art that God loves it and he is the source of it. But you should use your skill, talent, and art for bad things/ purposes. E.g. violence, greed, lust, such negative intentions.

God will not put in an artist’s heart to make things that will bring sinful responses in others (Mark 9:42). He will not lead a person to create that which contradicts His nature.

Is It a Sin to Draw Anime in Christianity? There is nothing wrong, evil, or anti-Christian about writing anime. It’s just a genre of animation and a drawing style. But if you intentionally sexualize the characters to provoke someone. Then it’s wrong and sinful.

Let me tell you completely, there is nothing wrong about drawing anime and manga characters in Christianity. Even busty anime girls, who have big boobs. Real women in the real world have large boobs and it’s just a fact of life.

But if you’re intentionally focusing on her boobs to look good, so people will be seduced by it. Then it’s a sin. Because in the bible god said, he loves art and he is the source of it. He wants man to create beautiful things. but later he said, it is important to define beauty. Art that is created to shock or horrify, or to glorify or elicit sin (violence, greed, lust) cannot be called “beautiful”.

Therefore if you’re trying to provoke people intentionally then it’s very very wrong and sinful.

other than that if you’re making anime, or manga (Disney style, or anime style) it doesn’t matter. You’re just doing your work. And nothing is wrong about it. No matter what the character looks like. Because you are not trying to spread negative emotions.

Nobody can draw what Allah looks like, nobody knows how Allah looks, trying to draw Allah might offend people, and some people who do it, do it to make fun of other people’s beliefs.

Therefore you should never try to do so. And in islam religion it is strictly banned to draw allah.
